I purchased orbus VR on my oculus aavount and had it connected to my email. I now have a HTC vive and I downloaded the demo on the steam store and i was able to put my email in on orbus VR and i have my old character. I was wondering if im still in demo mode or is it the full game?
Likely still demo. Your key from the Oculus version of the game doesn’t transfer to the Steam version. The only way to get the Steam version if you have the Oculus version is to purchase it again.
Here is the dev’s official response for cross-buy. This pertains specifically to Steam --> Oculus, but it works the same for Oculus --> Steam.
Likely what’s happening with your account is that if you play a class that is already greater than level 10, you just won’t gain any more experience on that class while you are playing the demo. You also won’t have access to the Auction House, etc.
