I was showing a new player around a bit, and they could not “submit” their drawing for a cast with the a-button. I had them switch to a different class, then back to mage (as this is also a bug sometimes), and they still could not cast.
Maybe they had a different controller layout? its possible to switch the Buttons around on these controllers

Idk, oculus is both the thumbstick and the “a” equivalent button. Definitely was not intuitive for the player.
Its press the touchpad for index by default. Can be switched to A easily though like Avcavi said. SteamVR has an option to remap buttons for any game.
