Unsuccessful authentication to store account

After playing only 7 hrs in the past month or two, i tried to load the game up today and managed to receive this as a not to why i cant log in. “We were unable to successfully authenticate your store account with our game servers. Please try closing and re-opening the program.” I have reopened it several times and verified the cache data to make sure it was all in tact. I tried logging into another account and it was tied to my main account so i could not. Please help resolve.

if your using the rift and bought the game on steam, you must have steam (not steamvr) open even if you launch from oculus home.

This is the reason no doubt. I didn’t realise theyupdated it at the time for my requ irement of purchase onto my secondary account. Thank you for clarifying this for me
