I wave at the Auctioneer but no response. I notice nobody else goes to the auctioneer. Is it broke? When will it return?
Not entirely sure why, but the auctioneer outside of your player house does not work. Inside the player house there is an auction room (second door on the left) where you can buy/sell stuff
You don’t wave at the auctioneer but the other npc in the same room. Auctioneer is for lore quests.

Are you still on a demo account? If so, the Auction House is disabled on those accounts.

There is no reason to use the outside one.
Just as a heads up as well, you don’t talk to the actual auctioneer but you can talk to the two NPCs besides them to use the auction house. (They should probably have a name though!)

I’m ascended beyond Demo status. In most other RPG games with an Auctioneer, you speak directly to the Auctioneer. This game is confusing.
