The power spike is gonna be huge once they drop, thus making current content a lot easier that’s why I can’t see them coming soon! 
I want them to be combat related like final fantasy with chance to poison, chance to slow, frost, dark, resistance to poison, etc. Would be a cool thing to collect as a rare drop in the wilds.
It could also be that they are reserved for giving avatars full arms instead of floating hands. Just a guess though
