I’m not sure why when poop is near a rock or tree or bushes that the critters are able to run into them and avoid capture.
Our characters are not able to go into those places so why are critters able to? I would think this an easy fix.

You are absolutely right, but I just want to point out that nets also go into rocks and trees, so the critters aren’t completely lost… so… if you are capping critters don’t give up when they hide in rocks or trees or disregard the ground…
Agreed but it would be nice if they stayed in the plain of existence we are in.
