Do luck potions work in raids/shards?

I always thought that luck potions just increase the chance of a monster dropping a loot bag, but i was in a raid yesterday and people were telling us to drink our luck potions when the boss turns red so we get gear. Does luck actually increase your chance of getting gear in boss chests ? i.e. world bosses, shard dungeons, raids

Yes that’s mainly where people use them drink it right before u kill the last boss before u get ur chest

Luck on guaranteed roll item, how does it work?

This. Luck would just not affect the guaranteed roll but still affects everything else at end game that is not guaranteed like a regular shard loot or raid loot (besides the token, obviously.)
