Okay, here’s the deal. This kind of community infighting is poisonous for the game and we will start giving out official warnings for it from this point on. I will update the forum rules to reflect this. Let’s be clear:
If you know someone else is using an exploit, please PM us with it. We definitely do want to know about it. We’ll investigate, fix the issue and if required go further and dispense punishments. It’s in everybody’s best interest that these exploits be reported so that the game’s health is solid and everyone is on a level playing field.
If you truly think this request equates to shaming or threatening players from our part, imagine how it would be if we started giving out rewards for telling on others? That would be 10 times worse. We appeal to your sense of community and helping make the game better.
But badmouthing other players and fellowships publicly, for this and other reasons (I have the PvP thread drama that pops up every week in mind here) is going to be officially against the rules from this point on. If you have beef with each other, take it in game, not all over the forums where the larger community is trying to participate. And again, if you have a legitimate concern, send us a PM and we will always be there to listen.
