I’d like to start this thread to help others find good places for fishing. I just finished the 5 bass quest (3rd or 4th quest in line, I think) and know I need to get catfish…which I have no idea where to go. Do I have to use the potion you get to lure the deep water fish? I only have one left and I didn’t get the recipe to craft more. As far as I can tell, I can only make the one lure but I can’t imagine you can’t make better ones that attract other fishies. Thoughts?

Do you know about the fishing gear that can be obtained?
You get 2 sets of fishing gear from the fishing quest line.
