Minor/Major Shards

I’ve been wondering this ever since i started looking into artificing,what do the shards you get from destroying items do? I have googled the crap out of this and cant find an answer. They say that they are for artificing but I have not noticed anything for what they do. So are they just for selling right now? Or is there an actual use for them in artificing.

(Edit)- i know they can be used for cash, but do they have a purpose other than that already in the game

Sell em for cash. IIRC they are also used to power artifacting on your gear in late game.

I have looked into trying to use them on my gear in artificing process but they dont show up anywhere unless somehow its explained end game, not late game

It isn’t in yet, but they will eventually power the tiles.
