Paladins are completely busted in PvP

I understand that, but like I said before they have too many tools. The have everything I have stated before, and they have close range and long range attacks. It might be a tank class, but that doesn’t stop it from being overpowered.

Please don’t use we. Everyone is every class. We and them is not valid

Catch you unawares. Otherwise most classes can just keep teleporting around and we have to use the Hammer of Retribution to actually hit you at range

Not true at all. It’s litterly a one touch attack

Have all our orbs up, which means increased damage against us if you catch us in the act of trying to get the drop on you

This is a pve not a pvp mechanic.

Not die immediately from your teammate because we don’t have any orbs after that and won’t be able to get new ones (aside from maybe the first two after the 5-strike hit depending on our last cd) for several seconds while we get hammered.

No, you charge up from taking damage, so your good to go

It’s not a matter of gear but of skills…

And as many said now, it is actually not the point that certain palas are OP, but most of them. As musky, if i’m focused and on 1:1 I can hop around for a while with most classes, except they are played by good pvp-players OR if the class is a paladin, like, almost all of them.
They drop their hammer, fight over, in less than a second and that’s truly different from every other class.

Paladins need to be either reworked or nerfed. I get that one of the main points of this discussion has been that some paladins are way batter than others. This is going to be the same with any class, but the problem with paladin is what’s gained from it. With a good understanding of the class, it basically becomes big sheild warrior that has infinite sword rushes anywhere on the battlegrounds and can oneshot if comboed well. My point is that, paladin has too much reward when understood compared to the other classes. A tank should not be that powerful on its own, however paired with a healer a tank should be able to prosper or atleast tank hits/annoy the enemy dps without a healer, not oneshot. If you are looking to make a more juggernaut class, then a good thing to reference would be warrior, as building a combo takes skill in pvp, but once built they are able to reap the powerful rewards without being power at the very beginning. Scoundrel also is a bit too strong, as it equates to a ranger that shoots charged piercing arrows constantly until one hits and deals a ton of damage (even oneshots).

Just going to reply to this for now and say “we already had a patch that is waiting to go out which addresses some Paladin in PvP balancing issues.” I’m not sure if it will go out today or tomorrow, though.

Or any fix for runemage spells being impossible to dodge since u can’t see them?
