as i was reading the comments on my last post i noticed people like there soft caps… . alow the same mechanic just put a limiter on it. say within 3 lvls.(play with that lvl scale as you may) but this will make it so you can get your soft cap on gear but also open the doors to adding in gear to the trad-able items. as it stands drem is next to useless placing these "lvl requirements"people will then want to make / save up drem for gear, making drem a little more impotent.
Its useless for the ones that dont die, or the ones not high enough level to need potions… and lots of them. Different materials for the different Crafts require loads of mats. and the one with dram can buy those to save hours of farming them

Another Point is for trading to be a thing they would have to set all drops to random (not class specific) to make a “game” out of trading.
All of the above is probably already covered in other posts aswell But im not sure.

you wouldn’t have to make all drops random to get dif gear. why would you think that? if i jump back to my ranger id have to either perches gear or grind for gear. (if it was set this way) its a sub class… less impotent to me but for someone who ist there mane class they are buying or selling all the gear they don’t want and or need… so im lost on why you think it would have to be all random…
as for the potion the amout of items there are the market is every narrow with those, if there were perhaps dif tears to each item? say you want to make a healing potion at lvl 5 you get all your items make it… say thats tear 1 healing 50 points… now say your lvl 15 and want to make a healing potion… well your in a harder area then the lvl 5 is so you will need a stronger healing potion. you go around in your harder zone and get the same items but they are tear (3) and it will heal you 150 points. or doing the same thing with the other potions that have time limits on them bigger the tear is the more time you get. +tears = more depth in game and to market
His point was that dram isn’t useless currently- and potions are the use. You will need them eventually grounder, and they would make your life easier now.
yes not %100 useless but next to with the short amount of items your able to get from venders. that’s why i tagged this under suggestions as for when the game progresses. there are still alot of holes in the game. suggestions are just that suggestions.
potions are not required in game iv never needed them. cant kill what you cant hit…
You should try out the end game i think you will have a change of hart then.
end game isent to hard if you have a group that knows what its doing (as someone who isent right in the fight) i don’t need healing potions solo fights don’t need them… frost 3 and kiting work for me… as long as i can get frost 3 to work with me hahah o yea talking about wield lands the mutant cactus is his aoe suposta be right in front of him or can he trow it at someone? cuz killing him he would look at me and im in the back, i don’t get a aoe register zone and i die… idk if this is a bug but talking to the party i was in they dident c an aoe on me either… something to look into? i saw aoes from him sometimes but not all the time but when i did see them they were when he was attacking the tank and the aoe is behind the tank say 3 feet…
Just want to be on the record that I like no cap on Gear. If it drops for me I want to be able to wear it. I also am fine with it being soul bound.
Is there a way to tell if it’s capping you? Does The stat show as a lower value?
It shows the full value regardless of your level.
For weapons, you can use them on the dummies in town and see if they do any more damage than a lower attack weapon. Armor is less convenient to test.
