I was doing The Trials (MSQ) and I completed:
Collect Voluspa’s tooth and Collect Socilus Scholar Recommendation and once I finished Collect Susannah Sword the Collect Voluspa’s tooth went back to 0/1. I tried talking to Markos and to the guy in WenderWood again but nothing is happening.
I’m unable to complete this quest.

I could be wrong, but I think the tooth is an actual item you get after talking to the guy in wenderwood. Did you maybe put it in your house chest? You’ll need to have it in your inventory for it to count.
Yes it is an item you get in your inventory after completing the quest. It looks exactly the same as a small tooth and many people just put it in their chest which causes this to happen. So most likely it was put in your chest.
