Warrior modification -- damage increase while shieldless

The greatshield reduces damage.
The standard shield allows for normal damage.
Now, what if playing shieldless increases damage?
It would allow for a risky-but-rewarding style of play for warriors. Almost like a berserker mode, where one only has to worry about swinging their sword as fast as possible. Plus, it only makes sense-- if the weight of the greatshield is what reduces damage, then reducing shield weight should serve to increase damage!



I have seen mobs in the game with no shield and lots of damage. Although they tend to have two handed weapons. Maybe that will be one of the future classes?
