Can’t you just mime it? I mean you’re already in VR. You don’t need an animation to do it for you.
The animation is for others; so the hug is witnessed by the recipient and those around.
That’s what I mean, everyone can see you moving as it is. If you move your hands and head, everyone sees you move.
