So on the airship from Highsteppe to Guild City a prominent landmark is the plateau with the giant statues of the four initial classes. (that is hoping more will be added). It just seems odd from a lore perspective that the mage statue is in such fine shape, I mean even the warriors is missing a leg. What I mean is since the plot seems to be the religious authority hating on mages and pagans, I would think that they would have some issue with a towering monument to sin being a 2 minute walk from their HQ.
Now I suppose this could be explained by saying that some force is protecting the mountain form the order, but I think simply toppling the statue could implement some unspoken story into the game. After all, stories that are shown instead of being told are often more revered.
Conclusion: lay mage statue on side for friendly world building, maybe even lay some pickaxes around the base of it so that people who enjoy exploring and have their eyes open can have a pleasant ah hah moment.
