I was trying to do the festival mission on my alt character. the abominables in lamavora aren’t counting towards the kills for the 1st quest. I killed some minions as well and they didn’t add to my total either. the same minions in highsteppe do add to the total though when killed.
I just hopped on to double check and it looks like it’s still working for me, have you tried restarting the game just to double check?
I tried a relogging but not a full restart. next time i go on I will check again

May be a desynch. That’s what I assumed when I got bugged for the light quest. had to redo two full zones of lights because none of them counted when I was grabbing them.
When I went back on it was working again so I was possibly desync like Mishka mentioned. 
well I finished the quest line, just hadn’t heard or seen a bug like this before so was confused. Thanks for the help
