Armor Affixes Not Working as Intended

  • DoT damage does not work on bard’s healing (which it should be a DoT heal correct?)
  • -1% Damage from Crits affect the user’s crits.

That’s about all I found and wanted to bring attention to. Mainly because I want the DoT damage to work on Bard’s heals, as it was said before that it did here. Also to bring attention to the -1% damage from crits, because with it affecting the user’s crits, its the first affix that harms the player using it (besides indestructible on a weapon, but that harms on an emotional level, not physical).

I don’t see the xp bonuses stack anymore… I farmed xp armor of each kind and it worked well, so far, like getting 7800xp instead of 7500 for an event; now it is 7575 which is barely worth sacrificing better stats and also when turning in quests, 4 pieces on, I get only 12120?

Doesn’t DoT stand for damage over time?

yes, what Semz want would be HoT Heal over Time. which could be an affix of it’s own. currently there really aren’t any that great weapon or gear affixes for healers

If there really has to be a HoT so be it, however the post I hyperlinked to says it is intended to work that way. So less something I want and more bug… still want it too though…

Why does % Crit damage effect healing also?

wtf lol. Good point though. The -1% crit damage should be a tanking thing not a debuff rofl.

Crit was always a stat used by all classes, especially the healers, for example with potions… it takes enough shards to reroll 2 affixes already with the existing combos, I don’t think it makes sense to like double everything. Instead they should rather word some of them differently and apply to heal and dmg like: dot/hot, crit dmg/heal etc.

I’m not really sure where in that thread I said it worked on Bard heals, I said it worked on Bard DoTs…I checked and it doesn’t do anything for Musketeer Renew either, sow e’ll talk about what we want to do there. But it is consistent right now at least.

As for the -1% Crit Damage, how was that tested to come to the conclusion? Looking at the code I’m not seeing why it wouldn’t work right. It should be that if you yourself get hit by a critical attack from an enemy, that critical attack damage is reduced by 1%.

That might be why it doesn’t work then, because I only tested crit heals. Since you are receiving a heal, that might be why it reduced that. I should test damage but in terms of healing, here’s a combat log where showing the less damage on my heals. I should have gone a bit more in depth, it was late my bad :stuck_out_tongue:

This means that if the tank has full -1% crit armor they are getting quite a bit less healing.
