Boss 1 and 2 bugs hard mode citadel

boss 1 bug- The bard does not always drop a circle during crystal rain witch causes the shard to fail to ignite if the bard is part of the ignition group

boss 2 bug- chains do not appear for all players

The boss 2 bug happens often and the chain almost instantly kills, it will fail to appear for certain players randomly as far as the boss 1 bug I’m not sure what the bard does to not get a crystal circle but if you guys know if its certain instruments or specific times please post whatever you think is causing this so it can be fixed

to be more specific about the boss 2 chain bug, player one has the chain attached to them and player 2 does not, so player two touches player ones chain and is killed, I think this is a visual bug that happens pretty often to unsuspecting players

Was the Bard in combat with the boss? Or just in the room using the passive effects?

The Bard has to be in combat with the boss. Bards are the only class where being in combat is not really needed in every situation. So I am guessing the game does not think the Bard is in combat with the boss for the boss to spawn the circles.

Yes, I have to bard heal Napur often, but the game actually combat tags you when the big crystal is about to drop.

This bug happens often, and often the person being chained cannot see the chain either.

We have started watching for sudden drops in health as the indicator that a player is invis-chained.

Just as an add on at 25% health the boss does the whole rush, jump, and place pools on chain people at the same time. You know; the bug they said was FIXED.

I would love to hear if anyone ever kills boss 2 in longer then 4 minute timeframe. Because it feels super impossible to kill the boss. Its just a kill it before it kills you from RNG fight.

There is so much wrong with it. From the jump bug insta killling a player while it shouldn’t, to the timing of the raging + jumping + non-jumpinp-spawn pools stack up not stack up rule. It just doesn’t add up. To the insane chain damage on top of that.

And btw, the mechanics aren’t consistent. The jump can happen any time on half health. The common theory is that it depends on what second of the fight you bring the boss below half health to gets its jump time set.

Idk. It just doesn’t seem to connect the timings of everything to make a tactic.

It is possible to kill boss 2 it less then 4 minutes

but is it possible in more then 4 minutes is the question.

Boss 1 I haven’t seen any issues with recently with the torch not lighting. I did play bard on this but made sure to hit it at the start of the fight after hearing about the bug.

Boss 2 chains being invisible is an issue atm, its something possible to work around but shouldn’t be happening. I also had it were the boss health didn’t appear in combat, this bug happens with any boss but its especially difficult with this boss seeing as its mechanics change with its health.
