Maybe I’m the only one but I feel the way doors are opened is a little awkward, especially when I’m grabbing it with my right hand and having to pull it to the left of my body. Maybe just make it so that in order to go through a door, you only need to twist the doorknob
I don’t think you really have to turn the door that much. I normally just pull it towards my body in a straight line and it opens just fine.
Maybe it’s just me then. Sometimes when I pull the doors open I have to open them pretty wide till it registers
The only change I would like to doorknobs is to be able to reach them from further away. Like how you can grab a loot bag from a distance just by reaching for it.
I like how the door works, but find it clunky to have to be so close to it to operate it. I do feel that the door passes through me as it opens.
Open doors like IRL. Stand off to the side, grab the knob and swing it open. Do people normally stand right in front of a door and smack it into their own face to open it in real life?
If you pull it to slow it won’t register. Just pull it fast and you’ll never have an issue.
No. But then in real life I don’t teletort towards doors with a 12" margin for error. It’s usual for any gaming interface to accommodate issues like this with design mechanics.
In the beginning, I was struggling getting the doors to work. I don’t know if something changed or what, but I agree that door mechanics aren’t ideal.
I think it’s a neat idea to have to open a door to teleport through it. However, I would love if they just worked by turning the knob.
Then again, they’ve been working smooth for me for quite a while now. Maybe something is better.
I like this idea as well. Maybe have a small white ring at the doorknob like loot bags and be able to grab it from a distance.
Or like the chests inside your house.
yea, being able to grab it from a distance would be really nice. a bunch of times i’ve teleported a bit too far away and couldnt reach it… or too close and clipped the door.
