Charged Strikes is bad (for mages)

There’s only one reason why. Affliction.

Affliction will consume your charged strikes, but it does not contribute towards building your crit up.
It should either be separate from charged strikes, not counting towards the consumption of your charged strikes stacks, or each tick should contribute to building your charged strikes stack.

100% on having this finally fixed. Same problem for scoundrel poison and ranger poison and all damage dots in general.

Luckily for mages there is a way out, fire mage xD (still needs fixed if you want the theoretical strongest mage)

Regardless of mages being powerful I think mechanics should make sense. It doesn’t sit well with me when there are counter-intuitive mechanics laying about lol.

Ya charged strikes in general is useless. In theory it could be super useful, but thanks to dots (both dps and healing) it never procs on the big stuff it would be useful for. Which is a shame. Though when I’m talking about healers I’m talking about Muski. I’m not even sure it works on the tic healing the bard does (pretty sure it doesn’t).
