*The trickster would be a melee class, that way there’s 2 melee classes compared to the 3 ranged classes and the trickster’s gimmick is mobility and confusing their enemies with their abilities.
*The trickster’s weapon could be a dagger.
*The passive could be that they have a smaller agro range and deal a bit more damage if they attack from behind, so they could use strike to get in range and deal the bonus damage from behind.
Skills:
- Strike: The trickster dashes forward in a line dealing damage to anything in its path, a great engage tool. You could map this to the left grip button.
- Cloak: The trickster becomes invisible after a short channel animation, maybe a second or 2, and becomes invisible for up to 4 seconds, gaining increased mobility, using an ability or dealing damage cancels cloak. A great getaway or a way to confuse their enemy. This could be mapped to holding down the track pad to channel it.
- Venom’s Blood: Upon activating, the trickster gains a kind of life steal from dealing damage for 4 seconds, this is a great skill if you are taking enemies on by yourself or to turn a battle around. This could be mapped to the right grip button.
Ultimate Ability:
*For this I had 2 different ideas, it could be either the trickster gets a better life steal for 9 seconds or it could be a great increase to movement speed for 8 seconds. This could be mapped to pressing both grip buttons at the same time.
Final Thoughts:
I know this would take a lot of time to make and there would probably be a lot of fixes you would need to put to it to make it balanced, for the grip button inputs for the abilities you could have it not cast if the hand is on something it can pick up, but I just wanted to put this idea out cause I’ve been thinking about it for a long time ever since I first saw this game, you guys are going to go far with this game, keep it up.
