Community Discord Server

I saw in the Kickstarter comments people were asking for a discord for the game, and I also know that there was a discord in October for the Pre-Alpha test. I’m basically just posting here to probe interest for either a new discord server or for the person behind the pre-alpha server to maybe update it? It would be a cool place to find people to play with once Alpha’s and Beta’s start, and also a cool place to just talk with the other backers and what not… thoughts?

EDIT: We made a community one that we polished up a bit and will develop more as the game develops here: https://discord.me/orbusvr anyone can feel free to join, we’ll use it as a place to meet people to play with as well as discuss the games as we enter Alpha and Betas!

I saw Riley mention on the Kickstarter that if one was made that he would pop in from time to time, which leads me to believe they don’t already have one, or at least not a public one.

I mod a couple discords. If you’re down I can assist with creating one. I don’t want to step on @Riley_D 's toes though. So he should have first right of refusal on an official one. But if you want some help, let me know.

Thanks man! We made it abundantly clear it’s UNOFFICIAL. And of course the moment you want to take it over, it’s all yours. We’ll make sure to keep it chill and awesome. Already some really neat discussions going on over there. We’re all really excited dude. You rock. :smiley:

Haha sounds good. I think having an unofficial one is great. I don’t think I’m going to take it over, I think it’s good for the community to have someplace like that to chat and the Dev Team can just drop by if we get a chance to do an impromptu AMA or something like that.
