Really not my intention of raining on anyone else parade but here it goes anyway.

I’ve begun a spreadsheet to show both parental breed and traits that result in various offspring. The idea is to discover the methodology of the trait variations such as the color mutation order and how size is affected. Also taking into account the possibility of the slot 1 vs slot 2 species outcome based on the resulting offspring.

With the data collected by everyone’s input we will be able to analyze the flow of the traits and deduce the best options to reach individual target dragon appearances. Personally, I’m aiming to have my very own Spyro at the largest possible size.

it’s been awhile, i’ll have to see what my gear had, i think i had the pure spyro look

The chart is filling out nicely, looks like we have avid breeders among us.

If you haven’t taken a look at the results, I highly recommend taking a look and pop in to discord and see the pictures people have been posting. :grin:

A lot of the colour information will build up over time and we won’t see all the colours for a while I suspect, however so far we pretty certain that the size of the dragon can change by a maximum of 1 from either of the parent dragon’s size

Examples:
If you are breeding a Size 3 with a Size 7 you will have the possibility to get Sizes 2, 3, 4 and 6, 7, 8. You will not get Size 5 which is half way between
If you breed two Size 6 you can only get Size 5, 6 and 7

So depending what type of dragon you want and size you are after you could breed a Size 3 mouse with your beautiful coloured tiger dragon and end up with a tiny tiger.

We are still testing the min and max sizes and will report back once we think we have hit the limits, just thought I would post this here in case it helps anyone going for certain sizes
