So Decurse works on Virus this week. I noticed it when a mage tried to decurse himself from poison, ate the virus and poison tic, got the virus off himself then died to the Second poison tic. Elite poison = death for mages in 2 ticks. Not sure I like that Virus can get in the way of decursing something as important as poison. But it got me to thinking, there must have been something else last week registering as though it was decurseable, but wasn’t. Wondering if Infection was part of that issue or something else. It was really an issue last week to be sure.
Do you have a timestamp for when it occurred? Virus is not decursable and the way the code is written that should mean Decurse won’t try to remove it and instead only try to remove something that is, so that would be a good one to double-check.
Sorry, wish I had noted when it happened. It could have been coincidence, but I’m pretty sure that was the sequence of events I saw.
I think you are confusing sickness and virus, different mutations, sickness is decurseable
Uggg ya, I mixxed up the 2. It was sickness.
Oh okay, yeah that makes sense. Should we make Sickness not Decursable? It stacks up a lot so I’m not sure how easy it would be to decurse.
Or maybe Decurse should just always prioritize Poison and Bleed effects that tick damage over status-type effects like Sickness?
Decurse prioritizing poison and bleed effects would be prefered. Those are the most dangerous to a mage and the group and need the most attention. The rest can be dealt with after.
