Hooked a fish, let it run and it went a long way (not sure if that’s normal?). Was slowly reeling it in, then pausing when line went red, then reeling, then… the line completely vanished, so i couldn’t see when it was red or not. I ended up snapping the line and it was my last lure, very frustrating. Not sure how to get more lures as don’t have any more ingredients. Please advise! Cheers 
To get more lure ingredients, kill monsters - they drop them pretty often. Then use the lure crafting table in your house to make the lures.
As for the line disappearing, it sounds like a variation of the bug where the line vanishes if it crosses zone boundaries. You can look at the section of line that runs along the fishing pole itself to see the color of the line still.

So I’ve looked into this one before and I think what is happening is that when the bobber extends beyond the render distance the entire line disappears with it. It’s an issue we’re tracking. Thanks for reporting!
