I would like to be able to hide my armor (make not visible like the helm). I would like to hide the true extent of my defensive / offensive capabilities aside from my weapon (which I would love to hide as well, but that’s not an ask). If there were a potion I could drink to do this or a kind of garment I could wear (monks robe) that could put into the cape slot to conceal your armor that would be perfect.

Personally, I love the idea of having some kind of garment you can wear over your armor if you just plain don’t like they way it looks. There can be different garments, and since they don’t modify your stats you can keep them the whole game and wear one that suits you. That being said, I don’t think they should be cheap or easy to find.
The devs said they will implement a feature to change your armor appearance … ‘‘transmorgify’’ more or less
