Okay, we have a new beta build of Orbus that should be coming out in the next week that has support for the new Oculus Dash and whatnot, hopefully that will fix it.
Hello, I’m having a slightly different audio issue. So one of my rift headphones stopped working for all games, so now I just use a regular 3.5mm headphones connected to my computer, but in the playback device’s the audio for the game is only playing through the rift headset, even when it’s not default.
This happens even when you have your new headphones set as default playback device in windows, and the Oculus headphones disabled in the list of devices? I did the same thing when I got my Rift (although mostly because I had better headphones) and it’s been working for me that way.
Hi, is there still no definite fix for this issue? From what I’ve read, I have the exact same problem as Diamond. I just got the game on Steam and when I launch Orbus from Steam and SteamVR, there is music coming through my Rift’s headphones in the login screen that shows your characters, but once in-game the audio just cuts off. I’ve tried what was stated and now I have to resort to using separate headphones/speakers for the sound.
had the same problem, i had my audio break though and using a regular gaming headset and pluging it into the audio port of my computer got the audio back, then now theres the problem of not being able to log in XD
It seems to eventually just magically fix itself for most people, but I have another meeting with the Oculus folks Tuesday, I will bring this up again with them.
yeah i just got this game and i am having the problem as well. every time a open the game i think it deletes the sound files because i have to go back and verify the game cache.
