How to chain cast fireball two for Orbusvr: Reborn

I am a level 8 runemage playing Orbusvr: Reborn on oculus quest, and i have watched some youtube videos on how to chain cast fireball two, but all of the methods taught dont seem to work. I know chain casting/spam casting works because i have seen high-level runemages doing it in highsteppe. I dont know if the methods that i have been taught dont work because its a different version or if i just suck at it XD
