I was experiencing high ping when playing this game, and I read in an old thread that the server is in New York. Is that 1 server for everyone? Is there going to be a US West server?
If everyone wasn’t on the same server, you wouldn’t be able to see or interact with each other. Lol. The game isn’t populated enough to warrant multiple servers, so you’ll just have to deal with it, unfortunately.
There’s only one server, but you can’t interact with everyone, all the time. If an area is very full (like > around 30 people) then players are split to several shards. In your menu you see an option “shard” there you can switch to a different one if available; it also states the numbers of players; might not help your ping but with general performance like fps drops.
On a related issue also check your graphics settings, you normally don’t loose out on much when playing on low, it enhances performance alot.
PS: There’s currently only 23 ppl online on the whole server, so yea, likely no different shards available at this time of day.
Keep in mind sometimes the game jumps to 500 ping for no reason even in the US.

Noted. It seems liked the game is somewhat unstable. Sometimes enemies rubber-band for no reason.
