Doing the main story and i’ve grabbed the old king’s bones and when I did it gave me two of them.(Thought nothing of it, because I thought you needed both for the story) So now that i’ve talked to the water lady again she took the one set of bones from my inventory, but now i’m stuck with this quest item in my inventory. Any chance this is a bug, or will I need them later?
UPDATE - since it is a quest item i cannot break it down, Just i’ll just leave them in my inventory for now.
Nope, there are a lot of instances where you can grab “Extras” - You should be good to break it down and get rid of it, if you do happen to need it again you can always go back to the same spot.
Im having bones issues aswell only instead of 2 items i get 0.
i can grab je bones from under the bush… but it doesnt add to my inventory. the first time i picked the bones up the quest did go to “Completed:” Unfortunatly i still cannot talk to lady savannah due to the fact that i dont have the bones in my inventory.
I tried going directly to marco (next phase of the quest) but he is unresponsive aswell…
So i am kinda stuck here. I am standing at the bush where the bones are to be picked up and tried to pick them up in several ways:
picking up and put the behind my back (adding item to inventory) — no succes
pickup up and holding for 5/10 second until it disappears — no success
picking up and put the behind my back while holing my gun (adding item to inventory) — no succes
pickup up and holding for 5/10 second until it disappears while holing my gun — no success
Have you talked to Beslial yet? (I think that’s the guy’s name over by the end of Kingsport Lake near the cave). Same thing happened to me, and it turned out I had to talk to him first.
You need to go to Kingsport Lake (big lake near Highsteppe starting town). If you follow the path from Highsteppe towards Lakewood Inn (heading North East) along the lake shore you will come to the mountain side, where there is a path leading to Old Kingsport (the ruined town with the towers in the middle of the lake) there the old man is who you seek
