Logged out at home, logged in in the wilds with everything gone

I was farming aberrations last night, and after we were done I teleported home using the teleportation device. After breaking everything down and performing a bunch of inventory management I exited orbus while still in my house, definitely not in the wilds.

When I logged in today I was under the earth in Highsteppe but I got the “Entering the Wilds” message. When I used the “return to graveyard function” to get out of the terrain I was returned to a graveyard in the wilds, and all of the items I had put into my inventory were gone.

I’m not sure exactly what I had in my inventory but I no longer have my stack of runemage reagents so I guess I won’t be rezzing or teleporting anytime soon.

I have observed this before as well, it seems to be an issue with your nearest graveyard not updating from your last death/questing area. Since the player house isn’t actually in Highsteppe but an instance it appears to resurrect at the last “real world” zone you were in.

Yes, that’s what I thought might have happened, but I was just trying to be as objective as possible so I don’t send devs on a wild goose chase.

I should also note that I probably did not use the logout feature in game, so if there is any sort of reconciliation process that happens at that time I likely circumvented it inadvertently.

Hey there,

Sorry about that. Let me PM you and I should be able to try it down and restore it for you.
