I’m not actually sure if this is a bug. I’ve tried to find a reference to this somewhere in the forum and haven’t found anything. Please tell me to RTFM (with a link!) if I missed something obvious!
I normally play as a ranger, but I’ve noticed if I switch classes, when I switch back, I get the red ring at the edges of my screen and when I check my health I’m at less than half. I know that I was at full health when I switched to the non-primary class. Is this a bug, or a penalty for switching classes?
My theory is that your lower level class, or more squishy class, will have less armor/health value(HP), so when you swap out, then you have to gain the difference for the higher level/geared class.
this is it, as a higher level class switching to a lower level class you have more then enough HP but when going from lower to higher you need to regain that remaining difference in HP
Ah! That makes perfect sense! That explains why I only started noticing it after I had leveled my ranger up a few levels! (I’m still lvl 1 mage and very low lvl fishing)
Freaked me out the first time 'cause I was fishing in an area with monsters (near the lake house) and thought I’d missed a monster attacking me while I fished!
