Main Story Quest XP

I’ve been earning a good amount of XP from the side missions, and am not complaining about the 1-30 time, but why does the MSQ not provide any reasonable XP? Seems like it would be a way to make more people interested in playing through the story line.

At this point if anything I feel like we’re giving out XP too quickly. We could certainly consider adding some XP to the lore quests (and the side quests that are coming out), but to do so we’d have to take XP from someplace else (e.g. reduce the amount of XP you get from the leveling missions most likely; or just overall increase the XP requirement per-level). It’s something we’re discussing internally but likely what will happen is we will re-adjust things when the new quests come out in the June 11th patch.

Yes, you can, but some people like that. I really want to try out every new class, but since I spend most of my time in shards and not running public events, I still only have 2 lvl 30s. I’m probably just playing inefficiently, but I am certainly not having the problem of leveling up too quickly.

Well that’s the result of 8 classes and only 1 xp source for all; sure it’s easy to level 1 class from 1-30 now, but I figured I really wanna play a certain class - my 5th - but it will take 20-30 days until I can, post-quests and without the nerves to do the event-jumping I did for the 4th already.

New players will be stuck with only weekly/daily quests earlier, at their 3rd or 4th class likely. Make it any less xp and we got only specialists hardly looking into other classes than the first they tried.

I also think it could be slower to go from 1-30, but then it should be same quests for every class, quests only accessible if you play this class.
