Make monk punches like the E skill from VI in League of Legends

I could imagine the monk being really cool if you would have such powerfull punches that they produce some kind of shockwave that pushes enemies back a bit and deal good damage.

Kind of like this: https://youtu.be/PKUK7B2fkqs?t=48s

It would make the punches feel way more powerful and would make up for the light weight of the controllers. Also maybe some haptic feedback / vibration on the controllers when you hit enemies would be good.

And the damage could get better the more and faster your hits land in critical areas of the body like the head or in the stomach. (same for archer)

Cool: yes
Useful: n- oh wait…

On first thought I thought this was a bad idea. As a mage your never that close to them anyway. Plus getting that close usually gets you killed…
But then again, that’s in groups…

Solo I think this is a good idea for a buff. A Great idea even. A fantastic idea, but it needs polish.

I think mages need a buff. I seem to be in the majority with that opinion. I know Riley probably has stats for this and knows how well each class is performing. This would be a buff, just pushing them back and giving you more breathing room could be extreamly useful so you have a bit of breathing room to perform spells.

In the end, mages need breathing room to solo (something they get in groups) and this feature wouldn’t affect group play, but would buff solo play.

That’s why I really like this idea.

Oh i didn’t mean mages with my suggestion.
I meant the new class “Monk” that will probably be released with some future update.

The class is supposed to be a fist fighter.

A buff for the mage isn’t really all that necessary. It’s already one of the best classes out there dominating in PVP on high levels. You just need hours of practice and with that i mean at least 50-100 hours to master the spells.

The mage was designed to be that difficult and challenge the players to practice practice and practice untill they saved all the runes perfectly in their muscle memory

He said Monk… as in a new Class. Not Mage. Though I do think mages need something when enemies close in and they have that sliver of health… When I started Mage I would have major issues while under pressure… Donk, Donk, Donk dead.
now though I have 1 or 2 99% cast rate spells, so I no longer need the breathing room.

Yeah that’s mage is supposed to be hard.

I thought you were just new to the game and calling the mage the monk :stuck_out_tongue:

Nah i’ve already got about 75 hours ingame and 2 of my classes over level 10 :stuck_out_tongue:

mages do have the push back spell they can use to get breathing room. and a slow so they can’t get back to you fast enough
