It would be a simple thing that would allow healer classes to see who needs the most attention for healing. Personally I would lie a way off modifying its position with sliders for its X and Y positions.
I’m imagining an overlay you can toggle on/off which has a HUD with names and health bars (possibility for aggro table to be represented here too) with a line connecting the health bar to their real-world position or an arrow if they are out of view.
Not really in line with the feel of the game though so maybe call it runic glasses and have it follow the magiky art style of runemage spells. Could work for all classes to give info on which enemies they have threat on to monitor debuffs etc.
Oh no duh… Make it a potion and instead of just a trippy effect like ithicac it would be a more comprehensive overlay. Party members already glow when hurt so it’s not so far-fetched to imagine more information could be overlaid when in a dungeon or raid situation
It’s something I thought about at first too, but I’d rather not have it. For one, it’s nice not having screen clutter, but more importantly, it’ll increase the delay for heals. If we’re looking at a list, then we have to search for the player to heal. If we’re just looking at the actual players, then we’re already looking at where we need to fire.
I agree with @Daeresha. The environments here are more intimate and you need to pay close attention to each person. I always play support/healer classes and I hate how it can become a game of turning red bars green, instead of watching the fight and being responsible for paying attention to each individual team member.
