Patch 12.55 - Citadel Normal Mode Raid, Winter Festival

Hi everyone, at Noon CST is releasing patch 12.55, which features the full release of the normal mode Citadel Raid as well as the return of the Winter Festival!

We’d like to thank everyone who has participated in testing the Citadel raid with us and helped us polish and balance it. You contributed to making this raid great!

Citadel Raid

  • Added Citadel raid questline - find the quest in the new tunnel under Highsteppe from Helga. You can find it starting in the Dragon Shop
  • Added all the drops and items, breakdown can be found here
  • Added new gear for sale from the Raid Vendor purchaseable with tokens
  • Added raid trash mobs
  • Added Weak Sephotep
  • Added Achievements for defeating the bosses, and one for doing the Citadel quest line

Boss 3:

  • Lowered portal health
  • Lowered elite health - Note that there is a mechanic that can make the elites harder or easier to kill.
  • Added anti-cheese mechanic for adds

We will also keep monitoring balancing feedback in the coming weeks, so definitely post your experiences!

Winter Festival

This is the return of last year’s festival as-is, but with both old and new rewards being added, like a new snowman pet, a mount, and a fireplace for your home.
You can find the whole preview here.

  • Main quest can be acquired from the Winter Festival NPC outside the Highsteppe gates
  • A sidequest chain from the Festival Farmer near Cenn’s Shop
  • A critter capture mission from Pierre Cenn
  • Winter Herald 2019 is now a legacy achievement and you can get Winter Herald 2020 from completing the Winter Festival Quest and earning “A Special Snowflake” achievement (carried over from last year)

Known Issues

  • The snowman critter model has an issue with the texture
  • The old furniture from last year Winter Fest is missing from the furniture shop (Sled, Presents, etc.)
  • The town billboard near the player house has old information

We’ll get a fix in for these soon in a patch, and they will not require a server restart.

Raid restarted on kill of the first boss. Boss is death an no-one has the loot now. And we can’t get the loot anymore this week. Mutliple bug reports were send. Hopefully we can get our loot fixed.

(all 10 people didn’t get the loot)

Sorry about that. We fixed the crash, and we should be able to restore your group’s loot. It may take a while, we’ll let you know when that should be done.

Were you all in the group that crashed when the boss died? Or is this in a different kill?

Okay, that makes sense since it crashed as you were killing it that one time. You should get it next time you kill the first boss. (You can re-enter with a different party leader to respawn it if you’ve done it already.)

As an update, regarding the players that crashed on boss 1, it looks like it did not take away your loot allotment for the week, so you’ll have to kill the boss again, since if we gave you the loot that dropped earlier you’d get double.

We’re sorry for the inconvenience.

Officially, for the people who received a +4 weapon with the legendary model mistakenly, just be aware we will be changing the model for the weapon you received so it correctly reflects the correct weapon.

They should also not be dropping mistakenly after the server reset coming up in about half an hour.

Boss 3 QoL

Could you make the consume stop as soon as you’ve killed the 2 adds? so you don’t sit around waiting if you kill them fast.
