So, I am new to the game (i am also left handed if this matters), Whenever I kill something and attempt to pick up an item I struggle to get the item into my inventory.
Maybe I just don’t understand how to, but I have been basically throwing it over my shoulder trying to put it into my backpack like I do my rifle. However, I just end up chucking it away 90% of the time.
Any help would be great 
Grab the item bag, once you are holding it bring it up and over your shoulder. Keep holding it until you feel a small vibration then release. Its the same as if you were to equip or unequip a weapon.
Left handed shouldn’t matter.
Also this is hownyou put your journal away… and you bring your journal out by turning the compass upside down.
Lol I had that problem also. Kept throwing things over my shoulder. Don’t let go of it until your hand stops moving. I actually have my shoulder stop my hand RIL.

Thanks, and ya i just got VR yesterday. I am loving it, it has made my lower back sore from all the squatting haha.
We’d more likely be thinking, I used to do that.
