FIX
I logged into the Oculus website clicked on the security tab and logout of all instances that I was signed in and that cleared the issue. So before doing a factory reset try this if anyone’s having this issue.

Everytime I try to login on the quest I get a blank character and a message stating that I need to contact the community forums because my Oculus account is not logged in correctly on my quest and I need to perform a factory reset. I did that and logged out of the app and re-downloaded it and I’m still getting the same issue. Please help!!!
The only thing I did was something that I’ve done multiple times in the past and had no issues. I signed out of my account with the embedded gear VR app and signed into my wife’s account so we can play PokerStars VR. The only thing different is Orbus had an update since the last time I did it and had no issues. Obviously I’m just shooting a fish in a barrel at this point but I’m just trying to give as much information as I can and as a PSA for other questions that might be doing the same thing so it doesn’t happen to them.
Update: I just performed my second factory reset and still no dice.!
Any help would be appreciated if you seen this error before.

Yes. I first tried to uninstall the game and reinstall it a few times that didn’t work. Then I did a factory reset of the quest twice now and it’s still not working.
Hmm, ok. This issue isn’t really on our side, but that Oculus is giving the game bad data. And normally a factory reset fixes that. I would reach out to Oculus support and see if they can help you out. Sorry about the issues.
I found a fix for it. I logged into the Oculus site and clicked on the security tab and logged out of all instances and then we logged in and that corrected everything.
So that’s something else somebody could try if they’re having issues. Thanks for the help.
So if anyone sees that issue try the Oculus website security tabs log out of everything first before doing a factory reset and I have to re-download everything.
