Hello, when I go to make a tileset it keeps telling me ruined potion even though I’m using the right ingredients on the right colors? Trust me this is not a peppega moment I’m doing everything correctly but it just won’t make the tile. This had been going on for the last week and I’m slightly annoyed this bug is Making me waste my ores. And I ain’t got no dram to be be buying ores haha
- Which tile
- What are you doing for it?
If you can get video of your attempts we may be able to help you better. There’s a lot of reasons it may not be working, but being able to see it can narrow it down
Fireball tile, and frost tile. I’m doing nothing special just putting in the ores on the colors that’s written in the book.
Sorry got no pc and I’m on quest.
So, to make sure you did it correct I am going to repeat what the book says but in a hopefully less confusing way. Because it can be confusing what the book says. And I did it many times wrong too in the past.
I will only explain the frost tile, which should be clear enough what might have happened:
Put in order on the color Blue
First 1 Knight’s tear
Then 1 Nahomium
Then 1 Obsidian
Then wait for the color green to show up. While it is still green add in
Only 1 Grathorp
Then you have to wait until the color is back to Blue. And only then you dip the bottle on the color Blue. (Almost all tiles and potions want you to dip the bottle on blue)
As extra note, the color changes from blue to turquoise and then to green. If the lighting in the house is shitty, turquoise will look very much like green. Just count the amount of times it bubbles. Blue -> Turquoise -> Green.
It can also be the rare color switching desync bug (it jumps colors because it didn’t update previous color). But that won’t happen consistently. Only 1 out of 1000 potions you make.
Or the very last thing I can think of is making sure that the right ore is grabbed, because multiple ores have simular colors on the table. Or even a bugged table thinking ore X is in but actually ore Y. Try moving out all items from the table and place only the ones you need in the order you need to put them in the pot.
I was going to say you probably are not waiting for it to turn blue to dip the bottle, but it looks like Scott broke this down much clearer, can we get an update? Did this work for you?
Yeah it did
