Quest Progress Lost: Noah's Ark Wilds & Sicilus Bestiary VI

I apologize if this issue was already raised here, but it looks like when these quests were revised to not include mobs that aren’t currently available in the game, it also reset progress in about half the categories. I absolutely had more than the target number of every aberration and aberration minion prior to the quest change. (If proof is needed I can find screenshots). I believe this happened to others as well.

Just a heads-up, if you add the “Bugs and Technical Issues” category to this topic, it seems to prompt a quicker response from the dev’s! They definitely seem to be focused on fixing stuff right now (as they should be), but may not see your post right away if it’s not within that category. :yum:

Okay, sorry for the delay in responding to this, took us a while to figure out what happened and what to do here.

So we’ve never really modified a quest like that before after it had already been out for a while, and we didn’t expect it to reset the progress on some of the objectives like that, so my apologies.

On Monday when the new end-game dungeon comes out, these monsters are going to be a part of those dungeons. So if you are planning to grind the dungeons, you will naturally end up killing these monsters again anyway; you do not have to go to the Wilds now to farm them.

That said, if you were really far along on the quest, PM me and let me know and I will look up a previous snapshot of your character and attempt to restore your progress on each objective. This is a bit of a time-consuming process so it may take me a bit to get it done for everyone, but if you were really far along then I don’t want you to have to re-do a large part of the quest.

Now that we know what happens that shouldn’t happen again in the future, and again I apologize for the inconvenience.

Thanks!

Nevermind! Ignore my previous reply. Riley is super on top of everything! Lol.

Can you clarify whether the corrupted boars/wargs are going to be part of the dungeon? What about the aberrations that also got reset? I just wanted to make sure that the issue affects both quests and that:

refers to both quests and not just one or the other.

Both quests have been affected by the quest change and both lost progress as Draven’s example shows.

Yes, the ones that got reset will be part of the dungeon (both types).
