Unable to start game due to this issue. My account works fine on the Rift.
Hey, @Erik_H1 you may need to try a factory reset. That seems to solve the issue for some people in the past.
any news from oculus on those tickets, seems like the issue could be on their end right?
Oculus haven’t responded to my support request. I’ll try a factory reset as that seems to have resolved another user’s issues. If that doesn’t work, I’ll follow up with Oculus again.
This happens to me using the steam version w/ oculus rift. 9 times out of ten, quickly restarting the game resolves it. For the other time, I might need to restart the game a third time.
This is a Quest specific issue and yeah a factory reset is the only thing that will fix it. We’ve seen it happen to around 1-2% of total people who buy the game. Oculus is aware of it, it’s something on their end and nothing we have control over, unfortunately.
