Quite a Workout!

Loving the game, just purchased it over the weekend and I am very much enjoying.
Wanted to share my appreciation on the warrior class, I’ve been meaning to get a little more exercise and this has been a great way to move about a little after work and class. I’d also advise all to be careful swinging, I got really into it and accidentally punched my wife! :facepunch::facepunch::facepunch:

Anyone else have any other interesting VR accidents while playing Orbus?

This isn’t an accident but I once reached down to pet my dragon and my cat was there in real life. I about jumped out of my skin.

Oh dude I’ve stepped on my cats so many times i feel I’ve caused some sort of brain damage.

Yeah, she wasn’t happy at first but my vive was still here in the morning so i’m assuming we’re still good!

I didn’t realize my son was near me when I was casting Ice Lance and I smacked him in the head pretty hard.

I was trying to sneak past some high level monsters in Orbus and my cat decided it would be a good time to jump on my back. She got elbowed across the room… and didn’t try to jump on my back for 3 days. (No kitties were hurt, just mildly frightened.)

I’ve accidentally punched the wall, the nearby desk, a cup (off of the nearby desk), my husband, and myself. Yes, somehow I punched myself in the face.

My husband wan’t mad at me for punching him though, so that’s nice.

Oh yes with the ranger, punching myself by stretching my bow and it feels pretty real because every time I hit my Headset, the screen goes black like knockin yourself out… :joy:

Rejinx smacked our toddler hard enough to break the controller.
We have a play space set up on a big red rug. The rule is stay off of the rug while someone is in the head set. Do we listen? Nooooooo.
I had to take the controller apart and plug some wires back in. The baby thankfully was fine with no disassembly required.

Punched my desk, MY TV and harrassed my cat in this game. MY wife has come up and poked me a few times to make me scream.

Haha, my puppers also like to come up when im petting the dragon… very immersive :stuck_out_tongue:

So I have a ceiling fan right above my head. If I raise my arm even halfway above my head, my hand gets cracked. That fan is what keeps me cool while I play so turning it off isn’t a comfortable option. My hand has made contact with that spinning beast multiple times. Im sure at this point donating blood would have been a better option. [Kinna gross]

I remember playing a few weeks ago after i had my hand smacked by one of the blades. Not thinking much of it I kept playin. Only to feel my hands become real slippery. I figured it was sweat. Nope. Blood literally everywhere.

Guess thats why im the red mage lol!

Its a dangerous game hahaha!

I too have punched my TV which I relocated, and had my overhead fan smack my hand back down telling me not to celebrate with fist pumps anymore.

xD i have the same problem but i cant turn my ceiling fan off cuz its broken so everytime i try to aim up with a bow or gun i get a nice smack on my controller and hand

ROFLMAO!

Some pretty hillarious things in here

I too have smacked myself in the face once or twice as a ranger, pulling the bowstring back. My right controller has also met my desk once pretty hard. Thankfully both desk and controller are fine

Damn you ppl are tall!!!
The only stuff Ive smacked are walls, cats and kids,.

So now Ive padded the walls, cats are avoiding me and kids got a long stick they poke with when passing my space.
