if you drink a potion and you are a ranger, there is about a 25% chance your bow will quit working completely, this is very annoying please fix it
Do you know if it’s any potion at all that has happened to you with?
healing potions and luck potions, I don’t drink others when im in combat so I don’t know if they do it too
I haven’t been able to reproduce this yet after drinking like 25 potions in the middle of combat, do you know exactly what steps you are taking that are leading to this?
Not the best spot for it, but I feel like it’s a similar thing since it’s probably related to sticky hands… I’m still occasionally getting the paladin librams stuck as well.
what type of healing potions are you using Mathieu? it happens to me with finely aged concentrated healing, enhanced concentrated healing, and luck potions
and it happens a lot… in almost all scenarios, are you using ranger class?
I was, I was trying enhanced healing but I will try with luck potions. You are basically shooting stuff, then sheathing the bow, drinking a potion, unsheating it and resuming shooting and then it doesn’t do damage anymore?
no what happens after drinking a potion is, my bow locks up and can not be loaded again, the bowstring wont move even a little bit
I think this may be related to the old unequipt arrow triggering when drinking potions? I did have it happen as well when chugging a luckpot.
it defiantly has to do with combat, I only have it happen when in combat
try what burnator said please Mathieu I would really like this fixed, it messes stuff up for me hardcore… its not a small bug its a very very frustrating one
Unfortunately I still can’t get it to happen on my side, so we might need some more information. What headset are you using? And if you have the capability of recording a short clip of it happening that would be great, along with the output_log.txt file
ok so I just had that glitch happen to me, I will send you the log, it was the most recent thing that just happened, I logged in drank a luck pot and boom the glitch happened… im on htc vive

i mean i dont even understand what’s going on here… i cant even use my potion while my wep is out still… it removes all the items you have on your belt when you pull your bow out.
you need to put your weapon away to drink potions
i’m aware… this is what i’m complaining about. ranger is the only class that cannot use potions with their weapon out. they have always been this way. previously you had a bow in one hand and an arrow in the other, which prevented you from using any belt items while you had your wep out. They then changed it during reborn so that we would have a free hand. the issue with this is that we still cannot use any belt items while our bow is out (unlike all the other classes)
That’s because you would have the potions inside the arrows if they weren’t hidden
