No matter what version of the launcher when I open it it gets stuck on checking files for latest version at 0% forever and wont launch.
Where did you extract it? If you put it someplace like Program Files that requires administrator access it might be unable to open the files…try just extracting it to the Desktop or your Downloads folder.
after 6 times reopening it it started downloading the lastest version*
