I logged in and had a message asking if I wanted to do shards. Unfortunately, as you can see, I have no idea whether this was sent last night, this morning, while I was offline, etc. Can we get time/date stamps on messages so we know when it was sent?

Yes , this is a simple QoL fix I never thought to ask for … I do want.
I also think we should have mailboxes to send items and messages to our friends.
It would be cute to see the flag up if I have an unread message.
