Server Update 12/1 - Auction House/Server Optimizations

Hey everyone, at Noon CST we will be restarting the server to push out an update optimizing the auction house back-end. Since we’ve had a major influx of new players we’ve noticed lag and various issues becoming more common, and this should alleviate the issue.

On the player side, you should immediately notice the auction house search becoming way faster and snappier, and you may notice various other things improve, though the full impact will have to be seen with hundreds of players on at once.

Note: This does not include the public market API being turned back on yet, as the changes we are going live with today were the first major step. We do plan on turning back on the API as soon as we are able to, but we must do some optimization on that side as well.

EDIT: Also included in this patch is a potential fix for the Citadel Questline progress bug - you will have to kill the boss again, let us know if it fixes your credit.

Server patch is rolled out.

Any patch notes we can find or was it only the auction house?

Just background optimization. Auction house stuff was bogging the server down pretty severely. So you should directly notice Auction house actions being quicker. And hopefully other random issues happen much less frequently (black screens, cloning, etc) due to the server not being under as much stress.

Okay, one thing we forgot to mention that is also included in this patch is a potential fix for the Citadel Questline progress bug - you will have to kill the boss again, let us know if it fixes your credit.
