I thought that it might be a neat idea, as we enter the final hours of the Kickstarter campaign, to host a surprise play test to help sway any last minute pledges. That being said, I have no idea how feasible such a thing would be and a good portion of this suggestion is just my own impatience to get my first look at the game.
Oh gosh. That does sound like a neat idea. I mean, for the Kickstarter campaign. Yeah! To help the Kickstarter campaign. Not just so I can play some more. For the campaign.
I have thought about doing this and would honestly love to, but they take a little more planning than that unfortunately, I don’t think I could reasonably pull it off. It probably won’t do the game any favors if we held a test where the servers constantly crashed because I didn’t have enough time to test things. I am really excited about holding the first Closed Alpha test though post-KS, it will be cool to get the server up for 48 hours. And we’re planning on that happening in mid-April so not too much longer to wait
Zardulu is right, this is for the campaign!
Haha, that’s pretty much the response I expected. It’s very close to the end of the campaign and I think I saw in another post that it takes something like 20 hours to set up one of those play tests. It was worth a shot though. I’ll just try to stay patient a little longer.
