Very terrified almost did it the other day. Would of been so sad
You can click it, you have to confirm the delete after that.
^ this. I click the delete button by accident on a weekly basis. Thank fuck there is a confirmation

Thats what it feels when logging in
Also the character will not get deleted. Only removed. a.k.a. you lost nothing except for access to your account until the devs would bring your access back.
