I just purchased Orbus VR: Reborn on Oculus Quest and constantly get the message,“We were unable to successfully authenticate your store account with our game servers. Please try closing and re-opening the program.”
I have tried everything from reinstalling the software three times, to opening and closing the program several times as well…no dice. I have not been able to play it even once at this point.
Any advice you could give would be greatly appreciated!
I forget where I saw this (maybe the unofficial discord) but someone else had this issue and I think rebooting the quest fixed it for one person, and the other it was a hardware issue with the WiFi chip on the quest. Have you been able to successfully play any other online games?
Two other people had this issue. Doing a factory reset of the Quest fixed it. I have a ticket in with Oculus to figure out what causes this but I don’t think it’s anything on our end.
